WhatsApp Privacy Update: Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has made a big announcement about WhatsApp. “We are adding another layer of privacy and security to WhatsApp,” he said in a Facebook post on Friday. It includes an end-to-end encryption option for backups that people may choose to store in Google Drive or iCloud.
Mark Zuckerberg said, “WhatsApp is the first global messaging service of this scale to offer end-to-end encrypted messaging and backup, and was indeed a technical challenge that required a completely new framework for storage and cloud storage in the operating system.
WhatsApp has announced this end-to-end encryption to be ready before it becomes available to beta testers and everyday users with a new vision of the wider technical community.
WhatsApp’s new feature will be released as an optional feature and the instant messaging platform will be rolled out to iOS and Android users next week.
Currently, WhatsApp’s backup management relies on Apple iCloud or Google Drive to store backups of WhatsApp data (chat messages, photos, etc.).
JioPhone Next Phone will be launched on Diwali, not today, find out the reason given by the company ….
What was supposed to be launched in India on September 10 will now be launched in the first week of November i.e. around Diwali. In fact the launch of the phone is being delayed due to the lack of chips around the world. Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Jio’s Google-powered Jio phone is set to become the world’s cheapest phone.
Reliance Jio issued a statement late on Thursday night. It said both the companies have started testing Geophone Next with limited users and are actively working to make it more widely available for the Diwali festive season. This extra time will also help reduce the current shortage of global semiconductors.
Despite the delay in launching, Jio and Google have made great strides towards launching the much-awaited JioPhone Next. The Made for India smartphone is jointly designed by the two companies, designed with India’s 300 million feature phone users in mind. Let me tell you that on June 24 this year, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani said that JioPhone Next will be launched on September 10 to mark Ganesh Chaturthi.
